Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients:
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  • 1/2 cup butter OR margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs (well beaten)
  • 2 cups milk (scalded)
  • 1 tsp. salt
Directions:
  1. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients and when cool, add yeast and enough flour to make a stiff dough, about 7 cups.
  3. Knead lightly and let rise.
  4. Punch down; let rise again.
  5. Roll 1/2 inch thick; cut into strips (1 x 1 inches), tie into knot.
  6. Dip in melted butter, roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  7. Let rise. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degrees oven.
