Gingersnaps

From Bonnie Camden's Kitchen

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 cups flour
  • Salt
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
  1. Cream shortening, sugar, and egg.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Roll into balls; do not press out.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees.
