Honey Wheat Rolls

From Bonnie Camden's Kitchen
Yields: 2 dozen rolls

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
Directions:
  1. Heat the water, cottage cheese, honey and margarine until warm.
  2. Add egg and dry ingredients gradually and beat 2 minutes. 
  3. Will be stiff. Knead.
  4. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise till doubled. Punch down, shape into rolls.
  5. Place on greased pan, let rise till double.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. 
  7. Brush with butter and honey mixture.
