CWhole Wheat Refrigerator Rolls

Ingredients:
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2/3 cup warm water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cooking oil
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 cups white flour (sifted before measuring)
Directions:
  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Scald the milk, add salt, sugar, and oil.
  3. Let cool until lukewarm.
  4. Beat eggs, add to milk and yeast mixture.
  5. Add whole wheat flour and beat till smooth.
  6. Add white flour, mix in well and place on bread board.
  7. Knead a few minutes, let rest 10 minutes.
  8. Knead again until smooth and let rise the second time until double.
  9. Shape in rolls or loaf bread.
  10. Bake rolls at 350 degrees to 375 degrees for 20 to 25minutes.
  11. Bread should be baked at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  12. This can be refrigerated a short time.
  13. Do not sift whole wheat flour.
